One of my favorite things about July is that it is the beginning of the tomato season peak. I love using tomatoes to add flavor and color to my recipes. However, tomatoes are equally as delicious on their own. This recipe is designed to highlight the deliciousness of the tomato itself rather than as a complement to main dish. Today, tomato, you are the main dish.

Ingredients
- 2 cups of whole, tri-colored, cherry tomatoes
- 3/4 cup of feta cheese crumbles
- 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil
- 2 pinches of salt
- 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
Instructions
- Rinse the cherry tomatoes and slice them into halves.
- Place the cherry tomatoes into a small mixing bowl.
- Add in all of the remaining ingredients and stir.
- Plate and enjoy.
- Pro tip: Drizzle just a hint of balsamic vinegar on top. Thank me later.
