Ingredients
- 5 Russet potatoes
- 2 Tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- 1 Tablespoon of garlic powder
- 1 Tablespoon of iodized salt
- 1 Tablespoon of dried parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper
- 3 sprigs of fresh rosemary
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Then, peel the potatoes and cut the potatoes into chunks. To do this, slice each potato in half horizontally, place each half flat side down, make 2-3 horizontal cuts and then 3-4 vertical cuts so that the potato is cut almost like a grid. Repeat this process until all five potatoes have been used.
- Place the potatoes into a large mixing bowl, pour in the olive oil, and stir in the cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, parsley and black pepper.
- Remove the rosemary from the sprig, rough chop the rosemary, add it into the potatoes and stir. Then, transfer the seasoned potatoes to a non-stick or foil lined baking sheet. Place the potatoes into the oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven, place in a serving bowl, and enjoy with your desired vegetable, protein, or all on its own.
